Børge Mogensen designed bookcase executed by the firm of Karl Andersson & Söner made with traditional attention to detail in all elements, using solid wood core beneath the veneers and full dovetailing of the drawers. The result is a piece of furniture that lasts the test of time and looks nearly new despite more than half a century of use. This well crafted two piece bookcase has Børge Mogensen’s iconic sculpted oak pulls set in tapered wells. Crafted with a rich and beautifully patinated oak both in solid woods and veneers. The oak was bleached to a rich honey blonde for a gorgeous surface appearance inside and out. This thoughtfully designed bookcase has 4 drawers on the base portion and 3 well spaced shelves in the top portion.
